Write an individual essay reflecting on the acquisition of the various linguistic areas of SLA (i.e. grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and pragmatics). The second language can be English. The learners’ experience relate to the English particularly as it relates to the specific linguistic area that you have chosen. For each linguistic area, you will need to highlight some of the main theoretical issues, including but not limited to:
Stages of grammatical development
Ease/ difficulty of grammatical structures
Types of vocabulary (high frequency, technical, cognates)
Breadth and depth of vocabulary knowledge
Accent and identity
Pragmatics
At least 3 journals articles for each language area that I have uploaded should be incorporate in essay.
